Used 5W30 for about 3 times, it gets rough and noisy at about 7k. try Castrol.

I using RL 5W40 on my german car and into 7,000KM now, very happy with it and will change oil at 10K. Its my first time using RL oil after after reading much review n research.

Last month i also use RL on my second german car. I like the RL as its reasonable price and so far so good......

I dont believe in Big Brand Name (why should i pay for some big advertisement) .....i check the oil specification and take it from there.

Neutral Newbie

I had been using redline 5w30 for the past 2 years. Went to buy it for my latest car servicing and was told out of stock. Was recommended castrol edge with syntec 0w30 instead and it's a few bucks cheaper compared to redline. So far my experience is it seems to run smoother than redline. Would recommend to try castrol too, at least for 10k km.
