bro, can't have your cake and eat it. Grippy tyres never quiet, quiet tyres never grippy. If want a good deal of both then it'll never be $200 and below. You are looking for 17", not 15". And why want pay by credit card? Just pay one shot..total damage less than $1k. Not worth to pay extra for interest.

U say u want grip. Re002 is a class below those I recommend to u.

No such things as quiet + performance.

Standform hv cc installment.. but their tyres r usually more exp.

U can try altc.sg

E rev @ north link

Li hong auto enterprise at no.1 bukit batok crescent #02-32 wcega plaza.

Altc large range of tyres ... Uob no interest...

The other 2 shops, 3-4.5%

Usually how many km then u guys will change the tyres?

My tyres seems to be losing grip esp on rainy days. I lost control of the steering wheel for half sec when i was travelling ecp towards city downslope before the camera at rochor. I am currently on 44000km.

You cannot say how many KM before changing tires. It depends on a lot of factor, like wear rate of tires, how you drive, the roads & condition you drive, etc.

However, you can check the thread wear indicator (located near side wall of tire) to see if your thread is wearing off over the recommended level, or see if there are uneven wear.

You you are not sure, you can always check with a tire shop.

I always think the tire shop always tries to make a fast buck out of us and say this has to change, that has to change etc. Thats why dont trust what they say.

Send your gf in your avatar to the shop, I am sure there is a fair chance they change your tires for free. Maybe even give you a nice set of Volks wheels.

Anyway, on a serious note, check this video.

How to check your tires wear.

What you have experienced is aqua planning and that is very dangerous as it causes your vehicle to lose control. Change your tyres if you can but before that drive slowly and carefully, especially during rainy days.

actually last time i have small skid on a rainning day.. along a straight road... 30 min latter i have another, it was around a bent, and i end up mounting kerb and a big repair bill...

44K and u have a skid, i think it is time to change liao...

this CNY is expected to be a wet one, so drive carefully, and get them change after CNY.
