today i know raining very heavily. if u drivers have no confidence in driving in such heavy rain condition, u can move to lane 2 or 3 on the e'way, why hog lane 1?? dun assume that everyone else has the same driving skill as you are

just today, i encounter 3 cars doing 70km/h on ECP on 3 separate occasions. 2 were taxi, 1 was a car. and when i overtook the taxi from the left, he high beam me [hur]

ya standard is about 110 to 120 on ecp

but today no work wat...so could be taking their time

anyway drive safe

no lah, 110-120 on heavy rain condition might be too much to ask for. but regardless of how fast u go, if got a faster car behind, just give way whether its raining heavily or not. not need to find excuse for oneself to hog lane 1 de

Kudos to the drivers of the 3 cars, they are just simply driving within the speed limit of expressways. I know the visibility was bad becos I was on the road during that heavy rain spell.

i seriously think that there is the correct way....i can easily see that a vehicle is at slow speed in front of me, and i will slow immediately

sometimes the viz can be very very poor

Couldn't agree more. For those who think they have better skills than the taxi drivers who drive for a living, they seriously need an ego check.

i use to agree to this many years ago when cars do not have fog lights. now with fog lights, i think the hazard light thingy might not be necessary

Don't do that please, it's so misleading to the drivers at the back, if you are worried, go install a

rear fog lamp or get a car with one.

Quite agree, if the taxi driver wanna save life, please drive on lane 2 or 3 during heavy rain, no reason to hog lanes and make other drivers that drive in the speed limit overtake from the left, it's more dangerous.

Drivers who CHOSE to do 70 in that kind of low visibility conditions, which is still reasonably fast, doesn't mean they buey zai. They buey toot. Smart.

Neutral Newbie

Rain or no rain. Right lane is over taking lane. Should keep left unless over taking. ( basic theory ). Some driver dun get it what is a fast/overtaking lane.... if you are obstructing someone behind.. that is road hogging....

But still. Heavy rain, poor vision, drive safe guys
