Soya Supersonic January 19, 2012 Share January 19, 2012 Evo Mag tyre test: CSC3 beats PS3, Pzero and even F1s. Can appreciate my CSC3s even more now. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2012-...e-Tyre-Test.htm ↡ Advertisement
SimonTan 2nd Gear January 19, 2012 Share January 19, 2012 (edited) I think only if you use the exact same size as the test. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2011-...-195-65-R15.htm In some reports, using 15" tyres....birdgestone ecopiaEp150 can be better then CPS2, cinturato P1, NokianV, etc. Different sizes has different result for the same tyre pattern. SimonTan 2nd Gear January 19, 2012 Share January 19, 2012 (edited) 18" Hankook S1Evo is the best http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2011-...r-Tyre-Test.htm But come to 19" Hankook S1Evo dropped to third. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2011-...r-Tyre-Test.htm Dropped to fifth for 17" Hankook S1Evo. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2011-...e-Tyre-Test.htm Same 17" Hankook S1Evo, become last. Suddenly lose to PS3 and CSC3. Whereas in the above 17" test, it was above PS3 and CSC3. http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Article/2011-...e-Tyre-Test.htm Cannot trust these test result too much...and different size and different test car will give different result. Wear rate is also a very improtant consideration for tire selection.

Coaxialcable Neutral Newbie January 26, 2012 Share January 26, 2012 r888 have very high wear rate. Wear rate is also a very improtant consideration for tire selection. Maybe hardcore trackies will use R888 even on normal road usage!
Salmon 1st Gear January 28, 2012 Share January 28, 2012 Changed my tyres to CSC5 today. Haven't really try out on different weather, perhaps my ears aren't as sensitive cause in terms of road noise, I don't feel much different from my old tyres (Maxxis). In fact I felt it's a little bit noisier than my previous tyres. Guess I'll need some time to get use to these new shoes.
