Tigerwoods Turbocharged January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 i respect the rank, does not mean i respect the person. Respect of the person must be earned through the heart and capabilities. In our military, rank is easily earned through education qualifications. + 3-legged.

Sosaria Twincharged January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 Why CSM got so many admirers ? Its because he never uses Chye Tao Kuay, Mee Siam mai Hum, Hawker centre, Foodcourt or Restaurant to make his analogy of situations and things. When they use such examples as you mentioned, they are actually "talking down" to people - that's why we find it irritating. It's as if people are too dumb to understand their argument, so they must resort to such so-called (that's what they think!) 'homely', 'heartlander-ly' examples in their speech. It's downright insulting.
Sosaria Twincharged January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 Saw a split second CSChan deep concentration to listen CSM speech. Hope he learns a thing or 2 about connecting to the Public is not the same as being the public. Stage presence, Charisma, air of mystery, sophistication, Aura is missing in him. Blame it on his boy boy look. ... Ha ha ha... I suffer from the same problem - looking younger than my age. It's hard to get over people's first impressions with that kind of look. Need to work with people for some time before they can go past that look and recognise the abilities. ...I can sympathize with him.
Jetabout777 1st Gear January 16, 2012 Share January 16, 2012 aiyah, why got dud over when he speak in chinese anyway....his speech POWER Do note that the translator for CSM's mandarin version was done by a person with a Chinese accent. I wonder whether this was deliberate so as to reflect his heritage.
