Gendut 2nd Gear January 14, 2012 Author Share January 14, 2012 What is the benefit to convert COE car to OPC if there is no more rebate ?? No more rebate? That makes it more financially unfeasible. However, as we know, conversion to OPC is to reduce traffic loads during peak hours. It does seen to be inconsistent, if the intent is so. LTA should consider this. Phensri Neutral Newbie January 15, 2012 Share January 15, 2012 It's not worth it to convert COE cars to OPC as there is no tax rebate. You only save a few hundred on road tax.
Gendut 2nd Gear January 15, 2012 Author Share January 15, 2012 So the only financially logical thing to do is find a 20 year old sub-600cc car, renew it with cheap COE and convert to OPC.
