UOB card kena compromised..BUT

..got a call from the fraud dept this am from UOB that they detected a suspicious activity of purchase about $600+ from my card. They have blocked the card since.

 

Actually, I realised when I went to pay petrol this am, and could not transact. There they told me, and thereafter I received a call from teh fraud dept.

 

Folks, do be mindful of your CCs. Watch the credit limit and ensure that you do not give your no anyhow.

 

I suspect my card no was phished. I do quite a bit of shopping for stuff.

 

But kudos to UOB for their prompt and alertness. Card cancelled, but just received new card 2 mins ago.

just monitor and be vigilant....too many cyber crimes lurking arnd.

 

Good tt UOB has this FRAUD unit to watch as well and do such for us customers [thumbsup]

Yes, kudo to UOB...

 

they really diligently screen the transaction...

 

best i remember was @ macau.. high and happy after the KTV... even before i went for the shower, they actually call my handphone to ask abt the bill i settle @ the KTV.. it was like within 10 min....

 

another was they call up and cancel my card after i charge my card during my stay in malaysia.
