LF-LC stars at NAIAS

"Showing what Lexus thinks a future premium sport coupe could be, the LF-LC features a re-interpretation of the signature Lexus spindle grille and rear architecture. The concept mixtures some really defined curves with dynamic angles, which generates a display of lines, shadows and corners.

 

The spindle grille has been given a 3D form and framed by a deep aluminum surround. In order to show the fusion of distinctive style and engineering functionality air intakes have been placed in the bottom corners.

 

Another feature of the LF-LC concept is the glass roof which enhances driver visibility while adding to the sleek lines of the car."

This is definitely my favourite unveiling from NAIAS this year. Although it might seem a little strange I kind of like the different styling of the grille. The car is sleek, has some nice curves without loosing some sharper angles. Lexus has done a great work there...

This will probably be replacement for the SC430, the high end coupe in the same category as the BMW 6 series, Audi A7 and MB CLS.

Probably it will get a less radical front end, but nonetheless I think it will be a great competitor to those models
