Spidercool 1st Gear January 8, 2012 Share January 8, 2012 No.not so easy to become unserviceable. Like wise motorcycle unit always under the rain and sun also can last for years. Unit comes with 5 years warranty, if really spoilt, replacement is free.

Watwheels Supersonic January 8, 2012 Share January 8, 2012 If car is parked under hot sun everyday? Wow. This is like asking if I put you under the hot sun everyday, will you die or not? There can be so many factors affecting the gadgets even the manufacturer cannot give you a sure answer. That's why they give you some kind of warranty. If you had use other electrical /electronic devices it's common sense to keep these things away from any heat source if you value them. If you really have to ask, priest....next intelligent question, thank you.

Odessus Clutched January 10, 2012 Share January 10, 2012 ERP and GPS will probably both not spoil under the hot sun. However, my GPS unit's battery has ballooned due to the heat so probably battery has the high probability of wear and tear... ↡ Advertisement
