Porker Turbocharged January 7, 2012 Author Share January 7, 2012 I think the findings of the review committee should be made public so we can understand their methodology. The ministers are after-all classified as civil servants right?

If this is to continue in next GE, they will lose another 2 or 3 GRC as you can clearly see on the close fight of GRC voting percentage.
Bystander50 5th Gear January 8, 2012 Share January 8, 2012 Thought they serve is with the passion? So looks like all the tea party selection process is flawed, failed to clearly screen out those who are out for fame and $$$. Not forgetting, many of these P*P ministars hold many directorships. If not for their affiliation with the party, do you think they can get these directorships so easily? Shoukd not just look into their minister pay only, should look into their sideline income. And CNY is around the corner, we'll see them wayang give ang paos to the old folks again in public and on TV. Despite earning so much, it's regret to say these ang paos are not from their own pockets, but from sponsors.
Vid Hypersonic January 8, 2012 Share January 8, 2012 I think the findings of the review committee should be made public so we can understand their methodology. The ministers are after-all classified as civil servants right? Don't you know a lot of these servants are very secretive. Things they do are always confidential. We'll never find out the reasons, rationale or methodology. Even if they do give you some reason, you can be sure it's either not true or not the whole truth. The rest of the ge our complains doesn't matter, looking at the way the issues are tackled as compare to precious years. my opinion is that they still dont really listen. just that they cannot afford singapore to lose due to instability of the country. why? because for them, singapore is a golden cow. they cannot afford to lose it or make it fail. not for the sake of average singaporean but for themselves. they will lose millions of income if things not go in their way. so got to look at the long term and wayang at the moment. They chose to joinPAP becos the hard work and reward ratio is better. If they wanna serve with passion, they will join charity/welfare groups. Voodooman Supersonic January 8, 2012 Share January 8, 2012 Not only bonus should be linked to real growth in median income, real GDP growth, well beings of the poor but their salaries as well. I have no issue with paying them big pay cheques but what did we get in the last 10 years, especially for the middle class and the low income group? It is nevertheless a step in the right direction, small steps but still, better than nothing. The previous pension scheme is a joke. ↡ Advertisement
