any bros here trained in this and interested to take on a freelance assignment?

basically its building a database for about 50 records (max) and a couple of reports.

try getting people who does programming with SQL, better than access :D

thanks bro...ya mcf really many tigers and dragons tats y i gave it a shot. [:p]

but have been asking ard and even frens in IT circle not many trained in this. really rare.

Oh? Access is really easy, especially since your data is only like 50 entries.

DIY, it's not difficult, why spend the money and have someone pluck you clean

my vendor made it sound like its damn tough job. the quotation is 3 pages long and charged me 6k [knife]

[knife] Ur vendor think u big time carrot. U try working it out yourself lah. Microsoft product easy to use one lah. Once u created the database and the fields, the rest just data entry. Then u can import to other office application like word or excel

I think alot of people always say simple simple end up the requirements keep increasing one after another after the work started. Probably the reason why they charged you that amount.

 

I was in a similar position as you thus I made one after reading an idiots guide from the library.

 

Difficulty is not in the number of records but rather the functionality and security that you require. If you do not require automation and not going to interface with other dBs located at different files/locations (ie. a 1 file dB) then I may be able to help.

Btw, why do you need access for 50 records anyway?
