is the odyssey rear seats that small compared to cars in your shortlist?

its a tight squeeze getting there due to the door placement but I find the rear seats adequate for kids.

I also drive a 06 wish, PI wish, next car would most probably be a Estima, centre seat can walk thru to 3rd row. space is so big, everyone can share leg except the driver.....drove this car before, good enough pickup and comfortable ride....can install DVD etc, good for family even with old folks.

 

Any worry with your current PI wish? Why no more PI?

Kids growing, current ride getting old

 

Requirements:

- sit 4 adults + 2 kids comfortably

- 3rd row must have air-con vents

- must be bigger than wish/stream, current ride is this size

- not stingy but lower capacity better lah, less road tax, better FC etc.

- SUV or MPV is ok

- must be AD, no PI

I agree 100% with Friendstar, why not Suzuki APV ?? I am driving one for about 7 months now and am loving it, from point of useability. All 3 rows have about the same legroom and headroom. Overhead aircon does a pretty decent job even on hot days and my solar film is not top grade some more. This is one of the few MPVs that I don't mind being sitting at the 3rd row.

Of course there are negative points too. It's sluggish but who cares just enjoy the ride man.

Sat in one Sayong taxi before, rough, real rough, more like a pick-up. Maybe thats why......

My pick would be the Ford Galaxy for MPV. Its big, has 3 rows of aircon, 7 individual seats, superb handling, a good safety ratings.

 

For 7 seaters SUV, almost all have no comfy 3rd row seats, so forget it.

There is also the DElica by Mitsubishi. A bit underated but good specs for its price. But i think only got 2nd hand now.
