That is a Lexus ES300. Not too bad if you ask me. The new one is nicer. I prefer the ES over GS but Borneo stopped bringing in the ES.

Erm, i quoted the other guys post. Guess he linked to the wrong URL lol.

Anyways i feel the car looks utilitarian. Must be a pain parking in small lots.

PS: I like GS300 better then the ES.

Will try that next time.. heard adult sized bikes can fit but I lazy to take out front wheel haha

I once saw someone fit a road bike into a Octy 1 hatch with backseats down.. no need to remove any wheels. Amazing

Sorry should be variable loading floor not variable boot lid.. I think in Europe.. u can order this as option. How it works I think is there is one additional sheet like floor on the boot floor that you can pull outwards.. this enables things put on the inner most part of the boot to be accessible easily.. now I have to literally crawl into my boot to get things all the way in haha..pit falls of asian sizing [blush]

my wagon is not too long, i managed to load one adult bike without taking out the front wheel, but it took a while to fit it in. Since I only need to take out two bolts to remove the front wheel, i do it nowadays and kind of get used to the slight 'hussle'.... [:)]

If you remove the front wheels, at least two bikes can sit sideway (ie lying flat on its side) in the load area..... the handle bar does need some headroom in the cabin.... i struggled with that before

btw, what's variable load boot lid? [:)]

Wah Lao... Read too fast then wondered what is it u need to carry that's so long till u needed to remove the front wheels of the car. [laugh]

Then I realised, no it doesn't make sense [:p]

Congrats! Superb choice, you should be getting your car before CNY? I was told they have ex-stock for the Superb.

hey spiderman, got miss ur red riding hood in SG?

sounds like u r having an awesome time in germany.

enjoy ur road trip! ^_^

Its was quite tiring. There was a scare near the beginning of the journey where I travel over 150km at over 180km/h at some point. Thankfully a kind gentleman saw it & told me when I when for a break. Otherwise I may not be typing here now.

Now I m in Berlin, but I take trains when I m in the city. Lots of tourists. Many Chinese tourists also, mainly younger gen. Unlike my local Hessen region, people tends to speak to me in English ( probably assume I am tourist) even when I speak to them in German ( admittedly a bit lousy).

As expected, lots of chio bus. Weather is overall good. A bit of rain, then snow, which turns to rain again. But it stop in the afternoon. & sunshine resume.

About missing my old ride. So far not so much so far. I discovered I m not sp much a 'racer'. Even on the legally no speed limit autobahn, I trip at a modest 140km/h. more relax to not drive so fast, can appreciate the nice hills & sceneries. I m divided if I should upgrade my power via tune from my current 160bhp to ABT tuned 210bhp. That's a considerable 30% power climb, & comes with 2 Years warranty. But I shall see in spring.

Nice. The Superb definitely packs more toys than the vRS. But all I wanted was a vRS. ^_^

Btw, what car are you changing from? Interested to see the difference.
