Never cycle at changi coastal road before but what do they mean by path adjacent to a road has been set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles? Does it mean that the path is only for bicycles? So the people on skates are supposed to be on the pedestrian path or cycling path?

If skaters are supposed to be on the cycling path then the cycling path isn't set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles right?

Thanks for the reminder. It is for everyone to use. There is no separate path.

TECHNICALLY, it is legal to cycle on Changi Coastal Road.

In any case, I am still quite ok with cyclist as long as they show some amount of courtesy.. and respect the traffic rules.

I saw a few times before where all cars stopped at a traffic light (not a junction type).. and then a bunch of cyclist come from behind.. did not stop at the traffic light but overtook the vehicles.. and all bunch up in the left lane until the entire lane travel at 10-20km/h.. because up hill. Then all the car LL.. follow behind. Worse still there are times where they overtook at the moment the lights turn green and then expect the vehicles to give way for them to filter back into the lane...

I am not against cyclist or cycling.. I myself also cycle but only in parks.. but please please give a thought to the other road users. BTW.. there is a cycle path on the pavement also in that stretch of road too.. and this happens almost every weekend.
