Christmas tree stained my tiles

Hi folks,

 

just realised that my floor tiles are stained green from the needles of my christmas tree. Is there any way to remove the stains? Haved tried using bleach etc but it doesn't work. [smallcry]

Please dont start pouring your Absolut or Barcardi all over the floor, but you could try alcohol antiseptic swabs or nail polish remover.. [laugh]

but mr Durex have you tried KY jelly

Nope, not kidding. Give it a try, the ethyl/methyl-acetates in them are very good organic solvents.

Artificial brown/green chemicals are used to make the tree looks nice and healthy?

What a shady world.

 

not really, i think the green stains are from sap from the needles. I sweep them daily but it seems like I've missed a few. So they were lying on the tiles for a month and it stained the tiles. Will get some alcohol antiseptic swabs or nail polish remover as suggested by Bro Nightsky from Watsons.
