Thanks bro,

This trip I am not going to Shenzhen.

I google about the dim sum restaurant you mention. Is it Tim Ho Wan?

I queued from 0930hr for about 40minutes to get my number (my queue number was number 9, fyi) and waited another 1 hour for my turn to get in. The shop opens at 1000hrs but be prepared to queue at least 45min before that to get a good queue number. The interior of the shop is small and can accomodate about 30 pax max. So they will only give out 130 queue numbers for the breakfast/lunch period. Unfortunately this is the only dim sum restaurant I visited while in HK so couldn't compare with the rest, but the taste is great!

Had a friend who ate here a couple of months back. I haven't been to the area in a long time so it could have moved to another location in Central.

There's also another branch at the Peak.

At the Peak? I did not know that. Thanks for info.

how much is needed to go Hk for 1 week?

It's depends on what you plan to do there. If you want to go to many places of interest in HK, go to macau or even nearby islands, also plan to go shopping. Plus eating expenses there, i think at least need SGD1000 or more.

In Macau can commonly use HKD rite? Or need to change MOP? MOP rate is better rite?

If you use HKD, you will 'lugi' a little bit. For casinos, recommended ones are Venetian, City of Dreams and Galaxy worth to visit (not just gambling). You can take the shutter bus to other casinos foc.

I stayed in Venetian before, very good experience. I had free lodging for the recent trip that I went, so no hotel needed in Macau.

I stayed in ShenZhen Kai Li Hotel, cheap and very accessible then the next day went to HK.

Walk-in rate is much more expensive, use internet booking via booking.com or whatsoever to get best deal.

I think the rate to stay in Venetian is expensive now, I stayed at Venetian, located at Cotai Strip, previously when it was just newly open so having promotion.

It depends which part of HK you want to go, an hour to example, causeway bay is around there.
