Hi guys, I am now using iphone but will be changing to Andriod. Right now I am connect my iphone via cable to the stock multi-media system to access my maps via phone.

For android (USB -> USB-C) is there any specific type of cable? Or just any cable that is USB -> USB-C should suffice?

Your new Android phone might come with USB C to USB C cable for faster charging. You might want to get an additional USB A to USB C cable for your car HU.

I am going for 40k servicing. MI quoted me about $580 as it is a major servicing. I can however opt to buy a package for $1.6k for 2 years worth of servicing. 4 times a year. 

Do you think its worth it?

8 servicing for 1.6k, it works out to be $200 per servicing, it is cheap.  But does your car need 4 servicing per year ? Assuming you just need  4 servicing over 2 years, it works out to be $400per servicing, still not too bad a deal from an AD.

Yea. It is worth it. It include replacement of brake pads, windscreen wiper and light bulbs. I sign up for MI servicing package for my previous car, in fact all the way till year 7.

Actually $400 per servicing is not cheap for normal type of servicing like only engine oil change lo. Even the servicing includes spark plugs changed also no need $400. But if for major servicing, maybe $400 is consider not bad. 😂

They called me. Its actually 1.6k for 2 years or 40k whichever comes first.

It works out to be 2 per year which includes the 40k I am going next week. They will also do a free 1 time change of brake pad.

does the package includes one major servicing? if so, it's worth it. 

But i've stopped going to MI after the free servicing as usually need to wait for at least half a day and are more expansive than outside. But they do wash your nice clean clean before handing the car back to you.

If I interpret it , it should cover 2 at least? 2 years (twice a year) or 40k

Parts or labour costs. You need to check before signing.

Servicing at AD, no matter which AD, confirm need to wait at least half a day even for normal type of servicing and much more expensive than outside. I think why needs to wait half day; it is because they need to wash car for you.
