indeed my driving pattern is non-highway with stop-go traffic....

Maybe see if can reset the CVT and re-train it with more highway driving and less stop-go traffic first.

Reset just before weekend will be good and do some long drives over the week end.

Only thing is not sure if that is one weekend is sufficient time to train the CVT to behave properly.

Alternatively, not sure if possible to get MI to just copy over other pre-trained CVT's programming rather than have CVT do its own learning.

It seems from a few anecdotal posts in this and other forums that the judder could be due to the CVT training/learning being done in conditions (stop/go traffic) that the system can't handle properly.  That is because some of the posts I see of people complaining of having to bear with this judder is relating to their daily stop/go traffic which presumably means that stop/go is a significant part of their daily drive.

Don't know

Operation hu

Clarion hu power up and got audio

But install back the stock ...

Due to rear camera and steerling controller unable to sync.

Need to think of solution for the conroller

How's the Clarion HU setup done up? I'm thinking if changing the speakers alone will improve the sound slightly? Any idea the stock unit have how many audio ports / config?

Hu will have the biggest impact ...

With out a good source .. no good audio ...

Also need power to drive the after market speaker

Doubt stock have the ability to drive those ...

Free feel to contact me for an audition for the after market hu..

Before I go into full swing audio upgrade

I'm not an audiophile so a clear speaker with some bass would suffice for me. Do you have the picture of the stock unit audio ports/socks?

Was thinking of Phase 1 - change speakers and see first. If not good enough, then

Phase 2 - change out the Stock unit as well, but worried about the car warranty. sigh. eheh

The most tricky party is the reverse cam.

Not your typical rca connector ..

It will need a 6v to the cam power

Have to go

Customize it

Also the hdmi and usb

Change to those able to fit into the hu without much mod.

our unit can play direct iPod/iPhone, if you have one then good enuf probably just to change speakers first.

but may need amp to power aftermarket, if so then why not consider getting amp with integrated DSP?

stock HU also good enuf provided your song files are of high quality in the first place.

have you tried different DSP to see which one you like and adjust the soundstage also?

Rock worked for me listening to pop songs.
