Icebabys 1st Gear March 4, 2017 Share March 4, 2017 When to see XV today at LK and was quoted $96800, calculated ard $8820 yearly depreciation sound like not a bad deal. But I forgot to ask abt the free servicing, freebie and etc, anyone know? Btw, what is XV FC for 50/50 road condition? And what are the standard freebie and "bargained" freebie? Thanks! Depreciation is only true if you drive the car for 10 years. ↡ Advertisement
Tohto Hypersonic March 4, 2017 Share March 4, 2017 It depends driver to driver. Some are naturally heavy footed or always stick too close to car in front (and have to brake and accelerate often) and never get good FC. Also even for same driver, it depends on how fast you get the hang of the CVT and how fast the engine lossens up with usage and servicing. Also depends how you control the right paddle. Some driver have a habit of tap let go, tap let go the accelerator even the traffic is smooth. Thus will caused the rpm to move up and down. For sure FC will be bad. The best is to keep a constant rpm during cruising.

Number lock for boot is not new. Was in the pre face lift. As for the new XV should come soon as MI earn less money selling old xv at low price. Crosstrek just some body kit costs around 1k++They have the STi package which is also body kit some interior upgrades and strut bar costs around 5k. I think boot space is about 300++litres. Parts I usually get them from lesun auto things like filters cost is fine not too cheap or expensive. No idea on the new xv 2.0. The above are details for the current xv FL. The new launch may not be in sg until after June or August. Just a guess.

Carhorn 5th Gear March 12, 2017 Share March 12, 2017 (edited) That's what the forum is for. U can help by not replying if u got no idea.u are a lazy bum. period. esp if u are a 1st time car buyer. boot space volume can be found in car forum showcasing the XV or at MI website. lackadaiscal attitude can be compensated by looking at downloaded brochures of XV. comes with pictures and illustrations in mm dimensions, with rear seats up or down. whether subaru cars are more ex to service than other jap cars are debated to death in this forum. i hate to say this but if u need to ask, u cannot afford the servicing of subaru cars. crosstrek version and availability of 2.0L XV can be answered by MI. but i guess u are too lazy to find out on ur own. would u believe the news if someone tells u here that MI is bringing in 2.0L XV? if u really make an effort to go down to MI, u may even gotten a printed copy of the XV brochure for u to drool on. u are a hopeless and lazy bum. period. jg2000 4th Gear March 13, 2017 Share March 13, 2017 Mine was dec 2015, no number lock, unless i dont know where it is.... It is not really a number lock. More of a morse-code lock - i.e. based on pattern of presses of one well-hidden button, rather than a number pad of many buttons. Hence, most people don't know it exists. Look at the car manual section 2-18 for details or look for Youtube demo which are easier to understand.. Don't use it myself but if you read earlier posts in this forum, seems to be popular with joggers as they can run without their car key (which they lock in the car together with their change of clothes etc.).
Archang3l Neutral Newbie March 13, 2017 Share March 13, 2017 2016 model has the number lock for the boot, the trim is orange instead of all black seats and wrap. the rear lights are led updated. the side mirror is auto fold on engine off, suspension tuned. Side mirrors are more of a semi-auto fold as you still need to push a button before turning off the power to fold them. Rear spoiler also comes as a standard. ↡ Advertisement
