Elfenstar 3rd Gear December 20, 2011 Share December 20, 2011 (edited) so for my WRX, pump front more air or rear more air? WRX's naturally understeer, however i get the impression they are a little more susceptible to lift-off/snap oversteer which would put you in a little bit of a conundrum. If its what I described, try increasing the pressure all around by around 2psi (approx 240kpa altogether). The fronts to reduce the amount of dive on braking, and the rears to increase lateral grip. I wouldn't want you to oversteer less when you transfer weight to the front at the expense of more understeer under normal circumstances. If its just oversteering normally, then increase the pressure at the rears by 1psi and try, and if it feels better, then increase again and again by 1psi to the point you feel its handling becomes more neutral. As there is a limit to what tyre pressures can do, I would also suggest you read the following articles. I suspect this might be for your particular model of WRX as well. http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Impreza-WRX...75/article.html http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Impreza-WRX...76/article.html http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Impreza-WRX...77/article.html http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Impreza-WRX...78/article.html http://autospeed.com/cms/title_Impreza-WRX...79/article.html Edited December 20, 2011 by Elfenstar ↡ Advertisement
