Wonder if this will work on Singapore roads

First, the local Authority introduced Bus Lanes to create traffic jams

Next, motorcyclists not allowed to avoid accidents by riding along road shoulders

TS's ideas not new, but the Authority still thinks otherwise, all these years.

bloody road hogger... of course the cars behind him are moving smoothly... it's because he's leaving such a wide gap that everyone is forced to "undertake" him...

It seems the guy rather proud of his road hogging [laugh]

Hmmm..... sounds like the stop-go-stop pattern is not too bad coz it helps:

1. save fuel

2. avoid unexpected 'things 'after/behind' the slope

3. test the brakes / accelerator if they are still working

conclusion is: new lesson for all learner drivers :D

1) It takes around 10% more fuel if moving from 0km/hr to 10km/hr compared with 2km/hr to 12km/hr...

2) Heavy Traffic: Just look at the "general view" of the cars infront... If that no one is slowing down/avoiding stuffs, 90% safe....

If that light traffic: You hit means you suan.... Front view so clear and still can hit stuffs....

3) You want to test the airbag working or not :D .

must not forget to add one more point:-

check front/rear/sides if 'white' bike is lurking around before using up the clear space quicker than other traffic.... very important :D

(and also if there's mysterious dark figure on the overhead bride, behind trees)

This is what I would call safe and responsible driving. [drivingcar]

1) Keeping a safe distance

2) Keeping to extreme left lane

3) Moving with flow of traffic

3) Allow overtakers

It beats tailgaters and reckless drivers anytime!! [rifle]

brother... he was in a left-hand drive car, probably in the US... so he is actually advocating doing all this on the overtaking lane...

probably they worry that they cant see what lies after the slope? :huh:but of course there is no need to slow to a standstill [rolleyes]

Standstill inevitably occurs further back as traffic builds up. Such standstill is unlikely to happen nearer the slope. Safe roads is all that matters.

Have a nice day! [wave]
