Vega Turbocharged October 30, 2014 Author Share October 30, 2014 1-2 years earlier before this accident, the unit also lost a tank commander during a major exercise when the SM1 overturned. he used to be my section mate during the BMT. my OC had the unenviable honour of pulling his body out. that was the era where every year sure got amour vehicles overturn and someone died. back then, there was this "amour black day" where there will no exercise. can't remember which day was it and not sure if they still have this practice now? That's the major problem with most light tanks, their small width makes their super unstable , especially if their main role is to maneuver on rugged terrain. And the top heavy turret does not do any good to it. Thank God we upgraded to a wider and more stable MBT like the Leopard. I've seen the Leopard during reservist andcontrary to popular believe, the Leopard is actually quite small and very low profile. It's slightly wider than a prime trailer and slight as tall as the m113. I always thought the Leopard is as big as the monstrous M60 CEV that our engineers use, but it's actually smaller. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/M728_Combat_Engineer_Vehicle wonder has any SG Leo2 overturn before? Ake109 6th Gear October 30, 2014 Share October 30, 2014 (edited) From 46 long long ago also. Anyone remember the stupid 'Sump' at the cleaning area always kena choked? I remember having to 'bath' in there once. Damn oil stain on body couldn't wash off the whole day. I remember nearly drifting the RSM GP car into the fence once due to the amount of dust on the road.... Edited October 30, 2014 by Ake109

You tiagong one or fact? Why singapore? F5 range can fly from Vietnam to sg? How come not reported? I find it even hard to believe the pilot can squeeze his whole family into the already cramped cockpit and can survived the atmosphere without oxygen masks.
