Panasonic appliances are very reliable, at least to some of us (better say this exclusion, before others jump on me).

Actually, I am more in favour of the 10kg model.

Agree, they made really lasting machines.

My German made AEG is 14 yrs already, only reaplaced 1 belt and shock absorbers.

paint work is automotive grade. Sure beat my toyota paint.

Heard of salesman rumoured of problem with direct drive motor.

But the 10 year motor warranty says otherwise.

But I am not keen on korean washers at the moment.

That is why I am looking for higher capacity.

my current front load is the old 5kg. Imagine how many times we need to wash all the curtains, bed sheets and blankets. Especially, so for this ageing washer.

Perhaps, the 10kg is the better choice.

Panasonic. 10kg will cost half of a Bosch, and uses less energy.

My panasonic 2-in-1 washing machine is rubbish.. Washing everything is okay, but when comes to spin-dry, it shake like got earthquake. Dam loud BONG-BONG-BONG sound, even with a few piece of clothing! But never had to replace any parts on it, never leak before..

Doesn't sound right. Better have it checked. Was it installed by the delivery man or others? Sometime, forgetting to remove the screws securing the drum may have the similar effect.

Are they legs on stilts, such as fake PVC stones?

CG may have changed if you have raised it.

Nope, it's just sitting on it'd own adjustable legs.

Plus the bloody power cable is quite short as compared to my old Pana.... [furious]

My newly bought Sharp top-loading washer also vibrating like it's dancing every time it's spinning......but the clothes are really quite dry when it's done........except one of my wife's clothes pi-char..... [laugh]

that was the reason why we switched to front loading washers >10years ago. I realised I didnt have to buy new t shirts that often anymore... :D

It may be adjustment on the legs.

Need to seat all 4 legs firmly on floor.

Otherwise, it will 'dance' away.

I am using Candy front loader and have been using it for 11years now. Still running pretty well except the spin dry time, extremely noisy (maybe the 'absorber' worn out already).

OC insists to use until it dies off before changing new one.
