Pocus Turbocharged December 14, 2011 Share December 14, 2011 During inspection. They only check the seal like this: - shine torchlight on the seal - Check the number of the seal - twist the seal to see if it's can be pull out. (the seal can twist one but cannot pull out) - shake the seal abit - PASS. 6 years of OPC plate inspection, 2 different inspection companies....all the same. hope this helps in your decision. D3rrick Neutral Newbie December 10, 2015 Share December 10, 2015 Hi recently my off peak car plate bracket was worn out due to wear and tear,I would like to replace the bracket only as the seal is not broken. Is there any way to replace the bracket without the hassel to go to LTA to cut the seal and than fixed the bracket again. Just went to my car inspection recently, I pass my annual red plate inspection, the officer there told me I can go to workshop to fix on the bracket only instead of spending few hundred to cut the seal and fix the bracket again. Any Brother got any suggestion or workshop to recommend instead of going to LTA to break the seal and fixed the bracket again. Thanks. ↡ Advertisement
