Lovie Neutral Newbie November 22, 2019 Share November 22, 2019 I'm a little late in replying to this, but since nobody had a cheap, easy and effective method of getting rid of fungus gnats, I thought I'd share mine. ZERO ANT POWDER - S$5.35 for 150g from Hua Hng World Farm - extremely cheap solution because you need only a tiny bit to solve the problem. It contains a synthetic pyrethroid that is harmless to humans and animals (except fish). Simply dust a little of this powder anywhere you find ants, roaches, fungus gnats, flies etc... and you won't find them around after that. There are currently 2 batches of them in the market - one has a carrier powder that disperses in water and the other doesn’t. If you get the one that is dispersible in water, you can even mix some of it in a glass of water and pour it into your soil, drain or anywhere you can’t dust, and it kills the eggs, larvae, pupa and adults upon contact.
Meoow Neutral Newbie December 23, 2019 Share December 23, 2019 (edited) On 12/9/2011 at 7:09 AM, Bicolor said: Just remembered the name, they are known as Psocids or also "booklice". They are most probably not mould mites, which are found in other environments and can be pests. The common ones on walls in flats don't do much harm apart from being rather offputting to many people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tyrophagus_putrescentiae Similar-looking insects might also be springtails, if they jump upon being disturbed. But I believe the booklice are the ones in question 99% of the time whenever tiny crawling bugs on walls are mentioned. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Springtail Expand Hi, I would like to ask if this is book lice? Or is this termites? Edited December 23, 2019 by Meoow
DrWallice Neutral Newbie June 2, 2023 Share June 2, 2023 I'm sorry. You have a wall lice infestation. You have to evacuate. There's no other option. It's too late. ↡ Advertisement
