Kangadrool Supersonic December 9, 2011 Share December 9, 2011 Yup, the problem (book lice and fruit flies in toilets) seems to be more common in especially new flats (where the design is block off direct sunlight). This problem is prevalent during rainy seasons also. Never had this problem in my old place where front is facing direct morning sun and kitchen and toilets are facing evening sun. If your flats get little or weak sunlight, then chances of having this is high.

Topspin 2nd Gear December 9, 2011 Share December 9, 2011 Do they sell Borax at NTUC? And do they sell it as Borax or some other name? No you cannot buy them anywhere in Singapore. You need to buy from on line shops. Don't cost much but the transport charge can be a little costly. Just few years ago, it is fairly common. Your parents may even have used them as food ingredients. It is called Peng Seh or Pang Sar in dialects.

Mightymito 1st Gear December 9, 2011 Share December 9, 2011 (edited) No hes not. Not too many years ago there was a food scare in malaysia. Food manufacturers added borax into noodles as a preservative. . Kills bacteria and mold and keeps noodles fresh. Perhaps your corpse might not rot as well Borax (Sodium borate) testing Borax is sometimes added to food to improve its colour, texture and flavour. However, because borax can be very toxic, the Food Standards Code does not permit borax to be used in foods. was from here http://www.foodstandards.gov.au/scienceand...nspring1059.cfm this one is funny , his wife adds borax into his food. Perhaps she doesnt love him as much as he thinks http://chowhound.chow.com/topics/279712 Edited December 9, 2011 by Mightymito
Happily1986 5th Gear December 9, 2011 Share December 9, 2011 (edited) guys...how about tiny little bugs.....(like wat describe here), but it has wings and can fly.....? They seems to be invading my bathroom.....everytime I spray, kill, they will come back again. i think your bathroom is too damp and dark which they likey likey. hmmm short of trying to dehumidfy your bathroom which is a pointless exercise, i suggest that you can get some essential oils of say elderflower. flies hate those like hell. you know nowadays people get those diffuser sticks and mount them in a tiny jar filled with essential oils? you can try mount such a jar in some off location in your bathrom. They seems to be invading my bathroom.....everytime I spray, kill, they will come back again. They are called drain flies. spray baygon directly into your drain hole. The larvae lives in the damp drain hole. Ignore the adult insect, they will die out eventually. Edited December 10, 2011 by Topspin
