Insurance assessors do take note of the tire tread so don’t be too proud of maximising your tire. If they can find an excuse that your tire was past roadworthy they may want to transfer some liability on to you if there was an accident.

Lol Linglong is definitely not a cheap, low quality Chinese tyre. It is a leading brand especially in commercial vehicles where high mileage is the norm.

Of course they are not up there for their performance tyres but they are a massive, listed company, not a small, never heard of before dodgy manufacturer. Some forummers here really have a very outdated view of Chinese products.
