Wow! I am also another disgruntled vPost user!

 

Been shipping with them for the past few years and numerous shipment, no problem.

 

This time, I waited and waited and my parcel never came. Now still waiting.

 

Their call centre sucks big time. It's manned by Pinoys ONLY. Polite yes but when it comes to efficiency, it's not there.

 

I ordered another item but ship thru' Comgateway this time. Let's see how it goes.

I ve 2 bloody experience that they left the note on the door n the slip says xxx timing but the whole day someone is at home n no one knock on the door. I even tested the door bell n it works perfectly. I lodge a complain immediately n the manager called and apologize that his men press on my door bell but no one at home. I tell him off that the bell is working fine n he better get his facts right. He hung up n call back shortly that he have checked with his guys n they said that he called out for my name but I did not respond so they left. I tell him off that is not true. I purposely move my laptop to the living room to do my report n did not hear anything. Even if is true, why they did not knock on the door? He apologize n case close. I LAN LAN go to post office and collect my parcel.

 

4 days later I rec another slip for my 2nd parcel. Guess where it is? Is in my letter box instead of my doorstep. Is v clear cut that they did not even go up to my unit n knock on my door. I called the manager again n this time round, he is "smarter". He said his guy knock on ur door but no one reply so he put the card in the letterbox. I tell him off that the whole day some one is at home and no one knocked on the door. He did not apologize just say ok he will arrange delivery down to my unit now!!!

 

Guess that's the STD they are providing.

I only did one and never again with vPost. Bloody WORST....I MEAN WORST delivery!!1

Borderlinx;DHL, been with them for 4 yrs now...NEVER ANY HICCUPS. Well, if any, i noe the mgr lah

Almost every other week i get things from USA or UK.

 

From shop site to sg, takes at most 1 week. Thru DHL, i track and even Sat/Sun, I can tell them do a night delivery.....NEVER FAIL one!

I share the same experience of the "invisible and stealthy" Singpost postmen that just issues slips under the door or in my postbox. I order quite a number of things from overseas and am used to it. It's faster to go to the post office to collect myself than try to rearrange delivery

Wow, I also want to contribute my story.

 

I was expecting a delivery via EMS Japan, and the Japan Post system is extremely efficient. The item was posted out at 10am, and in that single working day the item was transferred from the post office of posting, to their regional sorting centre, and by that same evening, was already inside a plane headed for singapore.

 

The item arrived in Singapore at 2pm the next day, and it took quite some time before it was sorted, from Airport processing, over to Paya Lebar HQ. I was expecting the parcel in one to two days time, and guess what I saw when I entered the tracking number into the system

 

VEHICLE BREAKDOWN

 

LPPL, got to take half day off to travel all the way to Paya Lebar to self collect (even though there was an option to redeliver), and when I asked the counter staff why got such thing as vehicle breakdown, he only give me a sheepish smile and said "haha i dunno, sometimes is like that"

Departed Facility 0800 (going jalan tukang)

With delivery courier 1000

Delivered to customer 1300

 

 

Fuss free. If I see it at departed facility, and am not going to be home, i jus tell them redeliver another time...easy peasy

Never gathered sufficient courage to try Vpost.

For Singpost, I find it faster to drive down to the postal office to collect the article myself, than to re-schedule another delivery.

 

Tried Borderlinx and Comgateway previously. Find Borderlinx reliable and fast.

+1 to borderlinx/DHL.

 

Been using them for years and always been fast and reliable. Just a few clicks and sure to get my parcel in 4-5 workings days, impossible with vPost.

cannot compare vpost w dhl or ups....the latter are big MNC, more manpower n transportation to go around haha.

Precisely! If they cannot provide courier service, then jolly well dun charge at courier price!

 

They still want to expand to loans, passport and even POSB deposit/withdrawal. They can't even achieve their basic function - delivering mail to consumers promptly.

I just got a parcel delivered. See how fast it is, no delay at all. Bought camera and lens most of the time, sometimes bags, shoes. Shipping fee can even be below USD20 with discount code. No discount code >80% of the time USD20-30. Is vPost cheaper?
