carrying a MG on exercise for even a guy is tough .... FBO with the MG is easily over 20kg.

in the civilian world, this is like saying job seekers no need degrees to get jobs.

in the military, for any career soldier in combat arms, it makes a difference and means a lot personally and professionally.

Can't imagine carrying those under the much hotter sun nowadays! 

See them carrying I also feel like heat stroke already. 

PS worst was 84 plus personal rifle and pack. MG at least one item and not 2.

Donch say in full gear...just now in my tee and jeans I could have walked directly across the road to the open air carpark but I followed sheltered linkway along the road to cross over under some tree shade further down into a kpt to walk just 5m from the kpt to my car oredi zuah si lang...😅

Once you wear number 4 uniforms, it seems you will be able to endure more and can sleep/lie down anywhere. 😁

That's true...but I usually would remove the number 4 and fold it into a see whores pillow...jin ho kun 😴😁
