Sorri noob about all this stuff... KC-840 is the older model of KC-A40. Function is the same, just different design. This comes with humidifier, which I tink you do not need right? It means making the air in your aircon room more moist. You can get one without humidfying function. KC-A50 has odour sensor and display and a bigger tank capacity for humidfying, that's it. You want the air to be drier right? By right, aircon will make the air drier oready. Edited December 26, 2011 by Fcw75

If you asked me, I will still tell you the same thing. - Do a chemical cleaning of your room aircon - Get a Sharp purifier, do not need one with humidfying function. Of course still have to do a spring cleaning of your room first.

Chucky2007 Turbocharged December 26, 2011 Share December 26, 2011 Bro, u can diy n have a thorough cleaning of yr bath room n bedroom. Use those Clorex bleach for white clothes. Dilute with water for 1:5 or 1:7 proportion, for bathrooms, use those pumpaction spray ment for watering plants, spray yr entire bathrooms, sink, shower area, Wc, floor, wall.. then race it for 10-15 minutes, then rinse ogg with lots of water. Bedroom, use cloth n pail. U can also buy Dettol mix with water if its for wiping. Wipe off every corner. Remember wear gloves and also mask if possible. After that air it with all windows open and use fans to circulate the air. Bleach is very powerful cleaning agent.
