AirScape Neutral Newbie January 17, 2013 Share January 17, 2013 (edited) Do you need to pay the agent any commission during the course of transaction? Edited January 17, 2013 by AirScape ↡ Advertisement
AirScape Neutral Newbie January 17, 2013 Share January 17, 2013 Wow, that's very good of them. Buying car from direct owner is definitely cheaper, which is because... It doesn't come with a lemon law protection. But still, who cares... As long as it's cheap... Right? Does the agent appointed by sgcarmart need to be paid a commission fee if the vehicle is successfully transferred to the new owner?

Hey Thanks Bro.. Btw.. even if i go JB can't save much right? because out of my 45L petrol tank i have to pump atleast 22 liter or more.. each time i can save maximum 15-18$ based on my calculations.. + its a hassle right? or u think its worth the hassle? on the other side if i pump from SPC with 15% off then.. can JB can save me only 10$ each time at max. so i think i will stick to SPC la.. but near my home is Esso which i am pumping since i have this car.. with 10% discount only. Thank u thank u :)

Thank u thank u :) My car is 55L, I usually go in at 1 quarter tank remaining. So I save quite a lot more. Plus my car can only pump premium unleaded so I save about 60 bucks each time I pump. High risk will have high returns, its more like a gamble or a lucky draw to get caught. Not that much of a hassle if you're going in for food and a cheap car wash too. Certain periods takes only 30 mins to get into JB past both customs.
GD_GRACIOUS Neutral Newbie January 25, 2013 Share January 25, 2013 Hello all, I have a buyer from overseas. He says if transaction price is agreed upon, then he will wire money over to me. He wanted to buy the car because he says difficult to get cars to pimp over in his country. A few questions: 1) Is this a scam? 2) If not, How is the best way to proceed with the transaction? With the whole deregistration of vehicle and sending it off overseas? 3) Should I be engaging a dealer to do this? Thanks

Infernolord 1st Gear January 29, 2013 Share January 29, 2013 (edited) Hi, currently riding a OPC vios 09, which i purchased at the low of COE. Fully paid. My car now actually in the money. Thinking of changing to a 2yr old contin car. Questions. is it worth to change now? 1. what i worry is that if i drive till more than 5yrs..my car dun worth any money cos low COE and is a japanese car and the trend is toward contin car now. or if i drive all the way till scape. The next time i purchase, my mth installment sure past 1.5k, looking at the car market now. 2. But if i sell my car now and got a 1-2yr conti car. My monthly installment at least 800... its another commitment again!! which I currently do not have it now. On hindsight, at least the installment is 800 as compared to 1.5 or 1.6k mthly in the future. Sighz. dunno shld i change or not.. Connect Clutched February 1, 2013 Share February 1, 2013 Does the agent appointed by sgcarmart need to be paid a commission fee if the vehicle is successfully transferred to the new owner? Hi AirScape, we are offering FREE service as long as the buyer is taking a minimum loan of $20000 over 2 years, and getting through the insurance with us. :)

Hi, my suggestion is to hold on first because having a car is a liability and since you have no loan then you should not give it up. Unless you are paying like $1k per month now and by changing another car you can reduce the amount to $800, then its worth considering. If you still wants to change to a conti car which I think you have to be prepare for not just the installment but also maintenance as conti cars generally have higher premium when comes to parts and servicing. Hope this helps you on your decision.
