Bullterrier Clutched December 6, 2011 Share December 6, 2011 You can rent those from Malaysia and they can come into SG to pick you guys up and send you guys back after the trip. We used to do this for our diving and fishing trips. I dont have the contacts but I am sure some of the brothers here will be able to provide. Such graveyard timing express bus to malaysia has been around for don't know how many decades liao. I remember when i was young, took many of such express bus to KL and malacca and even further, and never thought of unsafe. Luckily still alive until today. This is not something new. Many times don't think too much, don't worry too much, ignorance is bliss. Edited April 22 by 13177

Night bus I wouldn't take lar... tried once when I was very little on my dad's company trip to Genting Highlands... I don't remember much except that it was quite uncomfortable and my parents were worried about safety... I tried again in Cambodia much later and it was a lie-flat type night bus and it was scary even though we reached safely - possibly cos there were no lights on the 'highway' between Phnom Penh & Siem Reap... Day bus I think is safer and can consider...

Night bus i only find it is very cold in the bus, esp if you are not prepare well with sweater etc. The longer distance you take, the bus become more colder. I remember i took a night bus to Penang, the bus was like freezer esp when reached 3-4am. 2
Hamburger Hypersonic April 23 Share April 23 Better to be cold than hot. Anyway most coach drivers are bochup attitude and will switch lane with no regards for vehicles coming from the rear. Fast or slow.
Davidklt 6th Gear April 23 Share April 23 (edited) I dont dislike the bus...the only thing I dont like is the lack of toilet. On a plane, at least you can go to the toilet almost any time. Edited April 23 by Davidklt

Express do stop at R&R point, so still got chance to go toilet.
serenade 6th Gear April 23 Share April 23 I use Aeroline to get to KL city centre. Top class service. Meals/drinks served on board with butler service and on-board toilet. Have their own rest stop which is very clean. The drivers stick to the speed limit and the coach is top class comfortable. Singapore end-point is at Harbourfront. KL is at Bt Bintang hotel which means can have a nice meal and clean toilet before departure. No concerns with road safety. Not cheap compared to mass market, but my life is worth more.

I have taken so many of these night and day busses alone since I was 17 years old... I have no issues with them. I think if someone want to pick-out accidents, there will always be some. The real question they should answer is , what are the statistics and probability of these night busses accidents? Even planes had accidents. But what are the stats? Is it enough to forgo air-travel? Hope people use some critical thinking skills please... Edited April 23 by Starry ↡ Advertisement
