it appears that logically

the temple has been there first BUT that does not mean it cannot be relocated

 

any religious organisation must follow certain laws with regards to noise and crowd control

if their congregation out grow their premises then there is possible need to move to a larger site

how about of Hindu friends, whose Thaipusam celebrate kena from government

the religious celebration with noise of drums only happens ONCE a year and attracts many many tourist dollars

I used to live near one of the religious buildings that appears in one of the Singapore history textbooks. They used to have prayers through the speakers several times a day, starting from 6am.
