@t0y0ta They have a shop with many sales reps at 76, Dunlop Street.  If it is ex-stock like typical consumables (wiper refill, brake pad), you can wait and collect on the spot.  Else, you can also order and collect the parts at their warehouse at Ubi.

Looking forward to purchase my first Lexus and started to test drive some cars. Curious to hear your opinion : what model would you choose if you would have unlimited budget?  Also how to you contact lexus customer service? Is this a legit source? Looking forward to some recommendations and advices.

You are from which country?

You are right. The key advantage is really their mechanical quality is Toyota+. I feel it is slightly better and less problem even compared to Toyota.

But that is also the problem - they are really just a Toyota+ product.

I was blowed away as a young man when I sat in the Gen2 IS250 (2006-2013) ... exterior and interior quality is so good.

All the recent models after 2012 seem to be pretty sad.. just my opinion

The lexus GS of that generation too. The grade of leather is a cut above toyota and the V6 is so smooth

Neutral Newbie

I drove Lexus for more than 1pyrs across 2generation of GS. It's a good car and very smooth engine. I did not go further after ES implemented

Any fellow Lexus Owners have similar issues with your A/C with one side blowing hot air due to Servo Motor issue?

It seems the other countries had a recall for Lexus models with inconsistent air temperature coming from the air conditioner (A/C) vents.

Not sure why Lexus Singapore has yet to perform a recall yet. As per my understanding , the labour costs may be very expensive to get these replaced due to the location of these servo motors.

common toyota/Lex issue.

Usually software ECU reset helps, but problem will come back again with increasing frequency.

I changed my AC blend servo 2 years ago

200+ only including labour at my simple workshop.

It is easily accessible from the driver foot well.

My workshop got MIJ Denso branded part, which I think is cheaper than Lexus or Toyota branded, but I believe it is actually the same part.

I have the same experience with wife’s 2015 RC. Solved by ECU reset twice, and the 3rd time had 3 servo motors replaced last year. Finger crossed, so far so good.

Hi all,

Am considering ES250 as my next ride. Went for test drive and am very impressed by the drive, the big internal space and the rest of the car.

SE shared with me that Lexus moving towards full hybrid range and ES250 will be phased out. There will only be ES300 in the future.

Is that true?

My current ride is a 7 year 318I.

Thanks for the sharing. 🙂

Is it ES300h?

It is similar drivetrain as Camry Hybrid.

Anyway, this is a very long car.

You might want to try parking it in MSCP.
