Cerano 1st Gear December 2, 2011 Share December 2, 2011 There is granted alot of silly politicking that happens within the USG but fortunately for us, this politicking leads to the perfect compromise being adopted. Sometimes, i admit, at the cost of others but yet this is all for the greater good and is necessary. Iraq was just a thorn along the way that had to be plucked out. Now I am an advocate of extreme affirmative action that sends a clear signal to the world about defiance ↡ Advertisement
Cerano 1st Gear December 2, 2011 Share December 2, 2011 (edited) Might does not make right. And there are ways to depose a giant. The bigger they are, the harder they fall. And here, I'm going to say "'nuff said" because I actually have a good idea of the NSA's capabilities in monitoring global chatter and traffic. Might does not make right that is true. But you have to agree that the fundamentals on which the country was founded upon and the ideals set out in the constutition are as pure as human intentions can be even today. Definitely more than can be said for the Chinese. As I have said, there are sacrifices that have to be made and often we have to choose the lesser of two evils. In this case, the choice is clear Edited December 2, 2011 by Cerano

In this case, the choice is clear "Ideals" don't mean squat if one fails to live up to them. Just because I proclaim myself a nice guy doesn't make me one. America is: 1) one of the first nations of the modern era to employ biological warfare against another race. I'm talking about Jeffrey Amherst and the smallpox blankets. Of course he was British, but all this happened in America. And do you know how the Americans continue to reward his memory? They named a ton of places and schools for him. 2) to date, the ONLY nation to have used a nuke against other human beings. TWICE, meaning after having seen the effects of the first. 3) the country that pardoned and whitewashed the Japanese doctors responsible for Unit 731. Including the Japanese equivalent of Josef Mengele, Shiro Ishii. People who tortured YOUR ancestors to a gruesome and painful death. Pardoned, accepted into American society and allowed to become happy and productive members of society scot free all because America wanted to kick start its own germ warfare programme. Oh, sorry, I forgot that the official politically correct bureaucratese is "biological *counter*warfare" (after having mentioned that atrocity, I'm almost loth to mention that the US gave pretty much the same deal to Wernher von Braun, a decidedly less evil person who was "only" a Nazi and high-ranking SS Occifer in addition to being a wizard with rockets. Seems to pale in comparison). 4) the country that withheld effective treatment for syphilis from its own citizens in order to study the progression of the disease properly. All because they could get away with it since these were poor, semi-literate BLACK people who looked up to their doctors as if they were gods (only to have that trust cruelly betrayed). Go and look up the Tuskegee experiment, and tell me the US has the right to lecture other countries about human rights. + too many other examples of American hypocrisy to list. If you're arguing from the POV of cynical pragmatism, then I'd understand. But it seems that at least some of your admiring gushing (in the previous posts, at least) is genuine adulation. Now either you're very naive, very sick or just trolling for kicks. Which is it? Edited December 2, 2011 by Turboflat4

Sacrifices have to be made. Are you going to rant about how agent orange left so many of the viets with disabilities even today? The ends justify the means. 2) to date, the ONLY nation to have used a nuke against other human beings. TWICE, meaning after having seen the effects of the first. Again, it was necessary and after all better them than us. Japs were deserving of it. In all fairness these should be used more often. Oh, sorry, I forgot that the official politically correct bureaucratese is "biological *counter*warfare" Scientists are not responsible for the use of their inventions. Their job is merely to invent, a job these people evidently did very well. Also, in the development of these dont you realise they also perfected some of the cures for the biological agents (after having mentioned that atrocity, I'm almost loth to mention that the US gave pretty much the same deal to Wernher von Braun, a decidedly less evil person who was "only" a Nazi and high-ranking SS Occifer in addition to being a wizard with rockets. Go and look up the Tuskegee experiment, and tell me the US has the right to lecture other countries about human rights. Black people werent full americans till after the world wars. They werent regarded as so and even today racism is still observed in many parts of the south where slavery once reigned. + too many other examples of American hypocrisy to list. Look at some of the things that they have written Eh, you do know that the Cultural Revolution had wiped out the teachings of Confucius rite? Thousands of years worth of cultivation have been lost when Mao is around. Do not associate the behaviours of the modern Chinese dogs with the ideals of Confucius. These dogs have lost all moral values when they had kowtowed blindly to capitalism and their self-serving interests. It makes me sick that Confucius is even mentioned in the same sentence with these dogs. Having said that, the Americunts are not any better either. Enough had already been said by the bros here with regards to their blatant pretence of upholding freedom and democracy.

Cerano 1st Gear December 2, 2011 Share December 2, 2011 Can our SAF be counted as a professional fighting force? We're semi-professional since we rely on a large conscript base supplemented by regulars. However for a country of this size and power, our SAF is very good already. Even taiwan doesnt use digital pattern uniforms yet

Scion Turbocharged December 2, 2011 Share December 2, 2011 from the economic point of view, i prefer authoritarian than democratic in times of financial crisis... in the US, Republicans quarrel with Democrats, the Congress disagrees with the President and Fed Reserve... by the time they compromise two months later, the world is half dead in China, the top leaders attended an urgent meeting, and the next day, a 1 trillion bailout package is released ↡ Advertisement
