Vist Chek Jawa Also Have To Report???

Frankly the media is reporting too much of this fella or his Mrs, now almost on a daily basis this past two weeks.

Yes he is THE man now but can they report on something more significant he did or is going to do?

Like announcing the opening of the Istana during Xmas Eve for the less privileged, the poor and those from the old folks home to share food with them and giving them presents donated by the public?

Or since the govt is predicting tough times next year, he could just display his steady hands and ability to see dark clouds ahead to advice us to be more prudent & maybe not rely too much on hoping to gather wealth through casinos or 4Ds/Totos?

I believe this does not controvene what is stated as his official duties in the Constitution.

But reporting on a simple family visit to Chek Jawa?

Going by this reporting trend, I guess the media will be focusing on him visiting the Toa Payoh Garden next?

Come on -_-

President Tony Tan visits Chek Jawa

By Hoe Yeen Nie | Posted: 25 November 2011 2336 hrs

SINGAPORE: President Tony Tan Keng Yam on Friday visited the Chek Jawa Wetlands for a first-hand look at its unique biodiversity.

Accompanied by his family and members of several nature groups, Dr Tan had a mini lesson on the area's marine life.

They explored the sandy beaches, the mangrove swamps as well as the seagrass lagoon.

There was even time for a brief stopover at Pulau Ubin, on their way back, for some coconuts with his grandson.

Chek Jawa is famed for its natural heritage, and several ecosystems can be found in the same place.

What bang for buck this president is.

Someone asked him "Mr. President, it has been raining heavily the past few days, perhaps you should consider going to Chek Jawa on another day" to which he replied angrily "NO DEFERMENT!". So off they went merrily.

Earning over 3m bucks courtesy from you and me, we certainly expect him to DO something.

Visiting a protected beach with a entourage and being reported?

Geez...

And we thought Putin was showing off...

Not me. The 60%+ did it, and we got a cabinet infested by malingers (quantity not quality).

The Man was dressed all in white - white shirt, white pants, white shoes!!! Who would walk around mangrove swamps dressed in white? The detergent used in his household must be very good. :D

Can use Chlorox?
