Well, if you need to organise yourself, then the phone arent any smart at all. [laugh]

tink yr referring to office suites which carry office files but i prefer to carry files of various formats, not sure if the office suite can do that and file transfer from pc to phone, like using phone as a thumbdrv.

anyway, a smartphone is like a smart car. it can do the job but the user may want control ovr some aspects. like a car with auto aircon. i still prefer fiddling with the settings manually although i know it can auto set everything. doesnt mean the aircon is stupid rite? tats the good thing about android but maybe u don't consider android phone as smart since the user can control things.

Not just office suite, Photo into album, games inside Xbox live, Movies and MP3 in to music and video player. PDF into PDF reader.. etc.etc.

talking about Thumbdrive, i wont want it to function like one, as no batt mean no thumbdrive. loss of phone mean loss of all information. too risky liao.

i understand what you mean, but what you are talking arent apple to apple comparission. if you are talking about air con, as long as it cannot read what temperature the user want, it is not auto/smart aircon already.

Andriod, still do the same as WP7 by its organisation, just that it enable you to move it around in a folder which i find redundant as why will you need to do that when a phone already does it for you? all it does is give you a false sense of control.

Get a Iphone 4S 64GB, sell away and get a Nokia N9. if those 3 are your main usage.

Don't waste time on Nokias... I wasted my money on a crappy and slow N8 that kept hanging and restarting. The last good Nokia is the N95 8GB, if there are still new ones available.

Android is Linux-based and open source, so you can download and read the source code from front to back.

http://source.android.com/

any SGS2 users having this hang issue? How is the support like?

we know iphone is using UNIX based OS how about Android, anyway to go to the backend of Android?

SGS 2 is one of the better smartphones which i had used so far. Android has been very stable so far and on the hardware aspects, Samsung's implementation has been top-notch, especially the screen's ability to reproduce colour richness and vibrancy. There were some complains that the phone feels very plasticky and toy-like in hands, but at least its lightweight and slimness are commendable.

As far as i can see, iPhone 4S is nowhere comparable to it.

definitely SGS2.. i use a SGS2 and Iphone4 together and i find SGS2 wins hands down.. in terms of funtionality, screen etc.. iphone needs itunes.. that is a big big minus pt for me..

I find that some games lag badly on the s2 leh .. as i use my phones for gaming as well ... as compared to iphne4.

Also the loading of photos also quite slow sometimes.

I thot the s2 is supposedly dual core and 1ghz mem? Faster or comparable to 4s?

Of course N8 is not good. its running on old version of Symbian. N9 running on Meego supposingly are quite good.

my aircon shows the temp, but i still prefer manually setting it, rather than let the climate control take charge and show the temp.

no matter how WP can organise the folders for u, u will still want to name certain folders yourself. well, it depends largely on personal preference. can't say which is better or worse, like prefer driving manual or auto car. for eg, IOS names folders for u when u place apps together, but some users may want a different name for themselves. Whether it's a false sense of control is subjective. u mean to tell me driving a manual car while the auto car can do the same thing places the user in a false sense of control?

it's not just about apple to apple comparison, but the principle of how one wants to get things to work.

itunes work well on Mac OS but i heard its not very efficient for Win7. for Mac OS users, iphone is still the simplest way to get around things. im using android. not as seamless but the user control won me over.

Work well on win7 too not much of an issue. only thing is, there are so much more choice when using Win7 compare to mac OS.

sorry, imo, climate control is not auto aircon. its just another way to name your conventional aircon. [laugh]

like i say, comparing car to phone are not similar comparison hence i dont think you can quote an example like that. [:)]
