SimplyTWL 1st Gear November 23, 2011 Share November 23, 2011 Seriously, anyone with a car can just forget about going to motec.. Waste time and petrol to even go there.. Went there once to replace a blown bulb at the rear of the car, quoted me $10 for a bulb without installation.. Crazy s--t! Went to nearby Jurong Point 24hrs ntuc extra, bought a pair of bulbs at only less than $4.. Most items they sell are also replica, mechanics there do not have any good sense of workmanship or knowledge too.. Save the time up and find other workshop the next day will be a much better idea imho..

Shox87 4th Gear November 23, 2011 Share November 23, 2011 WhiteSnail isn't really cheap... His price definitely is slightly more ex than market... But you will gain knowledge with decent workmanship from him... R2D pricing wise how.. ? Never been to or heard of them before... Any JB WS to recommend that opens till midnight or thereabouts.. ? in wad way u say white snail is ex? u referring to normal servicing or his CAI set up
AlvinDj 1st Gear November 23, 2011 Share November 23, 2011 (edited) in wad way u say white snail is ex? u referring to normal servicing or his CAI set up His normal servicing is slightly more expensive than others... For his CAI, I wouldn't dare comment if it is ex or not because it is exclusively done-up by him and also, made to customized.. :) This one would be subjective... Shox87 4th Gear November 24, 2011 Share November 24, 2011 oh. haha i have been going to him for my previous few servicings. pardon me for asking, wad kind of prices are considered cheap for servicing? i paid $100-108 for EO change, depending on idemitsu or blitz 5w40 Oil. plus the usual batt, coolant, brake pad and other fluid checks. Everything we find there will be more expensive than other shops. But then it is a monopoly at that point in time.
Mcfguy 1st Gear November 26, 2011 Share November 26, 2011 I'm thinking of doing my 60k at Star Auto at Chin Bee area near Jurong Point. I also need some repairs like rear left window unable to wind down and rear left auto lock/unlock not working. Anyone got comments on them or better recommendations. One of the reasons I thought of going there is for convenience is bcos its near my worplace. My ride is an 05 Altis. ↡ Advertisement
