So a few days later I wrote a cheque to him to pay him back. You don't get that kind of service these days.

Its never ok to close shop even if they "never" do anything wrong like Nokia. Actually they did a lot of things wrong, why kid themselves even now? Living in an alternate reality. I've been there a few times, never experience before leh. LOL. I went to BM 30 yrs ago. Wanted to buy a Starlet. Salesmen were busy avoiding me. I caught one and he pointed me to one and said last one and walked away. T cars were flying off the shelf. Salesmen don't even bother to entertain you. That was the last time, I promise myself never to step foot in BM as long as I live. So what that car so great, I have to chase them to pay money ? I walked over to MotorImage and the saleslady was absolutely great. Bought a car there and then. Edited December 30, 2016 by Kb27

I also have relatives who want to buy T cars decade ago, walked into their showroom and no one attend to them, in the end all ended buy other make/model. Even after decade, all my relative still never go back to buy any T car. Lol. As for me, i have never step into the T car showroom at all. Lala81 Hypersonic December 30, 2016 Share December 30, 2016 Shows that reputation still plays a part after so many years lol. Over the years, I've never felt that BM service is bad leh. My whole family has bought a Toyota at some point. And i've test driven Previa, Camry in 2014 also. The service was always ok.

Last time these sales people very yaya papaya, so many people just want to buy the big T. Don't dress well and they don't entertain you. Now got competition from the Korean and even Germans that people don't automatically chose a T. Condos sales are perfect for them. Just herd people into aircon tents to queue up and tell customers you have to ballot for your unit and no blank cheque please don't waste my time. They can be rude, snobbish and still make a lot of money. i'm not surprised BM laying off. Business is so good that there is no need for sales exec anymore. Buyers simply go to BM and buy without much convincing. It is the lousier dealers who need to hire more sales exec just like condo developers have to offer 5% comm for condo that cannot sell. Those that can sell out in one day, they give at most 0.25%. Sometimes, buyers just call developer direct and don't even need to pay agent a cent

Still2016 Twincharged December 30, 2016 Share December 30, 2016 I find it strange just how some make purchases. I wondered if they are buying the car, the sales person or the company. For me, when I buy a car I go to great length that the car Iam buying really is what I am looking for and tthe process is simple and trouble free. I have seen how people buy rolls Royce or Bentley. They go in make their personal choice and pay then leave. Small talks distracts what you go for in the first place. For those who got turn off by salesman at T and decide somewhere else, in most cases is yours and salesman lost and not the company. Most bread and butter T cars are on par or better than those smaller brands in terms of reliability. Priority.
