He wants a private settlement and ask me to go to his workshop for repair and he will pay for everything. In this case, do i still need to inform my insurer about the accident? Will it affect my NCD? Currently all accidnets need to be reported to Insurer, in order not to void the motor insurance policy coverage. However, if the other party can settle with you through satisfactory compensation. Example: repaired by your own workshop. Never be naive to accept repair by the other party's workshop. A fool and his money soon part compaby. ↡ Advertisement
