Magfocus 5th Gear June 6, 2002 Share June 6, 2002 (edited) Glad U're enjoying your Sephia, the K&N and iridium plugs will give your better throttle response but do be careful when U re-oil the K&N, over-oiling may cause contamination of the MAF sensor. As for rims, 15" max if U like to balance some looks with comfort and fuel economy. If SACHS has a suspension kit (springs and struts) then go for it! SACHS has the best balanced touring/performance kit as far as I have experienced, not too harsh yet lowers enough over stock to give better handling. Talking about the Sachs kit, how much are they? Will be harder than the SACHS set if using Konis, rough breakdown price: Koni Yellow (adj) - $120 each Koni Red - $90 each Eibach springs - $450 a set H&R springs - US$250-300 a set Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Usually, you'd find that by the time you fork out the cost plus labour of fitting the shocks, you may as well throw in the springs for around $300 more, since you save on the labour costs of installing the springs. Your Focus already has a good ride, if you want to see substantial improvement, I think you have to go all the way. otherwise just stick to stock.
