Latio2005A Turbocharged April 15, 2012 Share April 15, 2012 (edited) Deal Cefiro owners, I am asking on behalf of a good friend who drives a 2007, 2.3l V6 Cefiro. He is not a member here. His in-car GPS is not working, with the word "No Signal"from the screen. Does anyone have this issue before? How and where to get it fixed and how much? Thanks in advance! Huat138 2nd Gear May 10, 2012 Share May 10, 2012 definitely not normal, after the fuel tank is fully filled, the needle will drop to half mark after travelling around 300km.

Anyway, just check the airfilter, it is very dirty, and turn black in color...will get a new one tomorrow and monitor the fuel consumption and update again. Wyfitms Twincharged May 15, 2012 Share May 15, 2012 Help anyone? I would suggest getting a 3rd party GPS. The one provided in cefiro is quite sucky.
Wyfitms Twincharged May 15, 2012 Share May 15, 2012 20000km servicing? How much should I be paying? google autosaver. They will have the price list there.

The needle hit 1/4 mark and I travel 200km only.... , hopefully is the airfilter that cause this... Though i change the airfilter and check air pressure for the tyres, the fuel comsuption is still very high, average of 5.5km/litre, i used ron95 and have been very light foot. The next things i suspect will be the spark plugs and the fuel filter..? And the timing tuning.. Anyone have experiencing high fuel consumption and eventually got better care to share your view... Thanks.

Thanks. Check whether you have sticky brakes. What is your mileage? Sometimes worn out piston rings can also cause high consumption.
Alf08 Neutral Newbie May 19, 2012 Share May 19, 2012 Check whether you have sticky brakes. What is your mileage? Sometimes worn out piston rings can also cause high consumption. My mileage is 73k....i quite doubtful about that for a 5.5 years old car, so i assume it is at least a 100k. I will probably send in to TC for a check up... Mmmm...sticky brake..? Mean it take a longer distance to brake to stop..? I do experience that...thought it was the heavy body that causes that...
Mika140 Neutral Newbie May 19, 2012 Share May 19, 2012 Definitely something wrong. Go to autosaver for a checkup. They have the computer system to check the engine system. Definitely cheaper and better than tan chong

Thanks. dirty air filter doesn't affect the FC. older cars tend to be more thirsty due to wear and tear parts. i never drive the Cefiro before, but i think your case is very jia lat. Spurman Supercharged May 19, 2012 Share May 19, 2012 My cefiro is avg 8-9km/ltr. Okay lar for a old 2.0 n 2.3cc car. At least cefiro is still a good looking ride and very comfortable car. TrAde a bit more fuel for a good ride. Quite worth it. ↡ Advertisement
