I-LOVE-CARS 1st Gear November 22, 2011 Share November 22, 2011 (edited) The way to stop people from converting a commercial vehicle to a personal / family transport is to step enforcement on unauthroised carrying of passengers behind. In fact, there are strict rules governing this but for some reasons, the enforcement is weak and almost non-existence. For example, only employee of the Company can be seated behind with proper insurance coverage and subject to a max # allowable by the vehicle type. And, it must be on official business (office to workplace, workplace to workplace etc). But some people really need to do that as they have no $ to buy a Private Veh, i remember my father kenna caught by a LTA on motorcycle before...till now if not wrong only LTA Motorbikes will catch as TP won;t even bother Edited November 22, 2011 by I-LOVE-CARS
