Just came back from a trip to JPO... Prices are not cheap compared to S'pore. Only those in local brand Padini are more reasonable. Bettter environment compared to other malls in JB.

There's some food in the JPO but as it seems smack in the middle of an oil palm plantation you don't get anything else without driving for around 5-10 minutes.

Within the place itself:

Suite Store Telephone

1002 Absolute Thai +607 5909 221

502 Baskin-Robbins +607 5909 285

401 Crepe Signature +607 5909 318

Food Channel

204 George & Dragon Caf

How about the F&B options? Any nice makan in at JPO or around the area?

Had steak there with my Japanese friends once. Taste is so so nia but it's cheap. RM 38+++ if I remember correctly for a big piece of sirloin.

They have 湯師傅 and a Japanese restaurant there too though I've never tried it.

The food sucks at JPO. I would eat at JB or Gelang Patah before heading over.

Yes, George and Dragon is the one we went.... Taste so so nia....

I tried 湯師傅 once. Soup not hot, everything taste bland. Not exactly cheap. Will never go again. I get better soup in foodcourt in Singapore.

Yes, talk about taste, SG's 老火湯 win hands down, but I suppose 湯師傅 is more towards tonic based. I quite like their porridge...

Also for info, those goods although branded are not necessary latest products ..... -_-

Went once and will not to return again cos the 'Coach' bag bought by my wife are outgoing stock. She brought it to our local "Coach" shop and was shown the latest model ...:wacko:

That's kinda what's on sale at all outlet stores everywhere else. + Coach buy online from US lo, 1/2 the price of SG. It's not really a premium brand in the States.

At least buy in SG got their latest range.

After much calculation & exchange rates, not much off a different but free from hussle of the traffic jam and worrying of car being broken into as the parking is far away from the main building. Unless one goes there very early before the shops open (10.00am). Then only can park closer to the building. [grin]

One thing for sure, the guards sure dress well but don't know whether got 'liao' or not....... [lipsrsealed]

Left stock from KL are transferred to there. So if wanna get latest model go buy in SG or KL

But price is cheaper than KL.

actually IMM has a Coach outlet? designs are much better than those in JPO imo.

during some sales promotion, can be up to 70% off? no need travel so far and pay all e tolls, end up discount also not significant.

For outlet shopping, I would rather go to HK.

it really depends on what brand u talking abt la...

for the coach, kate spade, MK, polo ralph, nike, adidas, tommy, etc... i totally agree... dont bother going in to see...

but... zegna, burberry, ferragmo, hugo boss, versace, armani..... its really worth it... the only difficult thing is getting the right size...

For outlet shopping, I would rather go to HK.
