So what if I use MACS to enter Malaysia at JB using Bus and travel to KL. And I intend to take flight back from KL to SG. At the KLIA, what will happen if the custom cannot find my departure portion of the white card?

maybe nude squat first, then investigate later? [:p]

You may be questioned. Be prepared.

I used to travel by KTM train when they stopped at TP railway station (check in w/o passport stamp, check out with handwritten scribbles upon presentation of arrival train ticket).

After the last trip (by train), I went to Malaysia by air. Can enter w/o problem, but when clearing immigration upon departure at airport, they questioned me (told me they did not have record about my last departure from MY). Luckily, my last train ticket was still kept inside my passport holder. Showed it to them and cleared successfully. Heng arh....

Please note that the MACS is meant for travel only to Johor and not beyond. If you want to go beyond Johor, better fill in the immigration white card. Happened to my friend's friend when he used his MACS to cross into Thailand from Malaysia. The immigration refused to let him exit the country into Thai territory because he did not have the immigration white card. In the end, he had two choices - go back to SIngapore or pay a few hundred RM to get a white card and stamp on the spot in order to cross into Thailand.

The chance of it being implemented is the same as SG govt scrapping GST.

Yes, it's akin to paying $30 for yearly visa.

MACS should be valid for longer term and not just yearly payment, but then it makes money for them ...

Bro! dont be such a cheapskate! Everything needs to "Pay and Pay"'!

After the checking area park at the left side and walk over and do. They are ok with that.
