bros,

 

my 05 vios steering column bearing/shaft makes a squeal when i turn the steering no matter i'm moving or not. my powe steering is fine. with last ps oil change about 3 weeks ago.

 

i went back to my usual mech...was diagnose with the "bearing/coupler inside the steering rubbing with each other". any way to confirm any further?

 

i have not got a quote on the price to replace the whole set. so need to ask typically how much is the cost to replace the coupling with bearing.

last time i had the "squeal" was coz of my shock absorbers that up lorry liao.

 

changed steering column also no fix until i went for 2nd opinion and they told me about the absorbers

my absorbers are new...definately sound from the steering wheel...

He needed a steering column 11 years ago.

Car most likely scrapped already.

If coe extended...need to order many replacement parts...😁
