What is the fatest time to completed buy a car?

hallo,

if i go to dealer, see the car, agree to buy.

how fastest i can get the car with all completed procedure.

example:

is it possible in 2 days?

day 1 go together with seller to lta to change everything/ ownership, settle insurance and rd tax.

day 2 go together with seller to bank to hand over the money and hand over the key

or.. there is some process at lta that need certain days?

Insurance will take at least 1-2 working day.

 

If seller has no outstand loan to settle and you pay cash. Then it can be done in 10minutes at LTA.

Very fast if you plan to pay full cash, after your car insurance has been done, usually about 1-2 working day. You can go to LTA to do ownership transfer and it will only take less than 10 mins. That is all the things you need to do, and the car is yours.

If you are just talking about taking the car and not the paperwork of ownership, some dealer will let u

drive the car immediately once you placed the necessary deposit. From your income they will know whether taking a loan is a problem for you or not. If you were to make full payment, even better for them.

I settled in two day for my current car. Just get call the insurance company to transfer the insurance to the car I am getting, go down get the the next day cert then follow the owner to LTA to transfer the car to me and I give him the cash. Then come home just in time to go to HDB to change the season parking to my new car.

what a question 1 day if LTA is open and insurance companies are open and loan is approved is on the spot

 

full cash within a day like they say money makes the world go round

not many ppl will be free to buy on a weekday unless some multimillionaire or billionaire and earning money while making a purchase

 

as vehicles are typically purchased on weekends

yup loan will take some time about 1 to 2 days

 

but if u have like a few million in the bank account....and taking loan for the sake of it banks will approve in seconds

You never know, some people might take leave to go buy car. :D I even got colleague take leave to go collect car!

So best case scenario. The time I need to count the moolah. Cashier order faster.

Blame it on slow processing by insurance company. Even renewal of insurance can take 1-2 days or longer. LTA transfer is quite fast these days.

 

In the U.S., same day loan approval, insurance approval and print online, DMV temporary license, take car. 2-3 hours complete.

USD is the #1 counterfeit target in the world. And RMB, also $100 denomination is likely the #1 most smuggled currency due to currency controls.

 

In fact, no individual seller/buyer will take cash for car sale in the US. Always take cashier's check. You never know if the notes are fake.

Well even you got 300K of cash, be careful as the money might be fake! :D
