Child Seat for folding Bike

I have a 20" Polygon folding bike. Now with the Punggol Waterway opened, I intend to ride it with my 2 yrs old daughter. Any recommendation where can find child seat for folding bike? Or is it even possible to mount a child seat on a folding bike?

even before you find the seat...check on the load that the folding bike can take first...cause I think folding bike weight limit is lower...

The smaller the wheel size ...the lesser the rear load, can the bicycle safely carry it.

 

20 inch is almost under the category for small wheeled size for bicycles.

 

Want to carry a child, need to use at least MTB size 26 inch.

 

Any other question(s) can go to togoparts forum where the experts there might 'suay' you before 'educating' you that not anything you fancy on bicycles can be done on it.

Possible but not that stable. The polygon you have looks like a Dahon.

 

there is a type of child seat that has an attachment secured to the bar on the seat. It allows you to "slot" the child seat into the attachment. However, it is pretty costly (~130) and can be bought at speedmatrix.

You probably cannot have too much weight. 2 year old should be ok. A normal bike may be more stable.

Hi there, I am in the same situation as you. have an Aleoca folding bike. can I put a child seat on the front? on the back? any tips greatly appreciated. Also, I am having a tough time finding a place which does this.

The bicycle shop located at AMK st 43 sell child seat for foldie, weight limited up to 30lb if I'm not wrong.
