Supercharged

Why is that place a hotspot for suicide? Of all reservoirs why choose Bedok?

Maybe its easy to go there. Got alot of buses pass by there. Its not so ulu like MacRitchie or Seletar. Since less ulu, the body would be found more faster, I guess.

Anyway, why suicide? People should valued their lives! Some sick people want to live also cannot, yet those who can live chose to die! Can't understand.

at the beginning of the year, i made up a list of bodies found in SG, but after so many, i gave up adding to the list.

should put up sign there, "Commit suicide, fine $10,000 + CPF forfeit"

SINGAPORE - Another body has been recovered from Bedok Reservoir this morning, the fifth such incident in just five months.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), who responded to a call from the public at 7.11am, said the body was found floating about two metres away from shore when they arrived on the scene shortly.

The body belonged to a Chinese female of unknown age, a spokesperson added.

Police this morning cordoned off a section of the reservoir bank, directly opposite to housing block 717, before the body was removed at around 10.30am.

An eyewitness Yeo Kin Kiat, 53, told AsiaOne that the body was pulled up by at about 7.30am. He said the woman was wearing a red top.
