Waxing your headlamp & back signal light

Hi, how many of you have habit of periodically wax the above to protect them against clouding due to scratches and UV?

I'm an avid user of OCWax. I do it all of the time after wash.

i notice alot of car's paintwork is still quite ok but the headlight looks really blur.. wonder if its bec the owner never wax.

 

anyway all the 4 pirce of plastics cost close to 1k, so it maes sense to take of them. no point spend $1 to respray car but still have dull looing headlamps

I always polish and wax my headlights and tail lights whenever I polish my car.

Headlamps, and all other lights also need TLV too.

I do it after every wash with ES, got phobia of it turning cloudy

but curious.. wax as in take out the whole fitting and wax inside? cos usually it is inside that is yellowish...

i don't think it is possible to use any wax to clear off the yellowish light covers once they had turned yellowish?

any idea where should be the right WS to do the job? how about the damage? anyone had done it before?

read somewhere here befoe use autosol is good to polish off the blur in your headlight ?

 

saw in youtube , they use toothpaste also will do the trick.

 

anyone tried before?

If not too yellow and not much scratches you can try polishing it.

I use cutting compound or autosol den wax over.

i wax them so during rainy days....the water will easily run off making my lamps lights useable

To keep the tail and headlamp cover from oxidation, its a ritaul every car wash, once oxidation sets in too long it is very stubborn.
